Safety at our camps

How friLingue looks after children at camp: supervision, health information, excursions and contact with parents.

Knowing where your child will stay and who will be there matters. Our camps take place in Swiss locations including St. Bernard, Braunwald, Schwarzsee and Estavayer. The camp team accompanies children through lessons, activities, excursions and the evening programme.

People on site, day and night

Camp leaders stay on site and are available overnight. Every group activity and excursion has responsible adults. Children know who to approach if they need help, feel unwell or miss home.

Health and individual needs

Before camp, friLingue asks families for the information needed to care for each child, including allergies, medication and dietary requirements. If a child becomes ill or needs medical attention, the team contacts the family and arranges appropriate care. Tell the team about specific needs before arrival so they can plan with you.

Excursions and staying in touch

The team plans and supervises excursions, adapting activities when weather or conditions change. Parents can contact friLingue about urgent concerns during the stay. The programme also makes room for children to spend time with friends away from their screens.
