Offer 1: Volunteering + language course
From age 17. In the mornings you attend 15 hours / 20 lessons of language classes, then help out as a volunteer: cooking, dishwashing, tidying, accompanying excursions and the evening programme, supervising swimming. That’s about 2–4 hours per day.
750 CHF per week – including accommodation, full board, excursions, evening programme and lessons.
Offer 2: Full-time volunteering (free)
From age 18. You help in the kitchen or with housekeeping – 5–6 days per week, 4–6 hours per day, spread across the day (e.g. one hour after each meal). There is no cost to you: accommodation, full board (incl. snacks) and free participation in some excursions.
Counselor-in-Training (CIT)
For young people from age 17, all year round. Three options (incl. full board, excursions, evening programme, registration fees):
- Full CIT (leadership training only): 2 weeks CHF 1,550 · 3 weeks 2,100 · 4 weeks 2,550 · 5 weeks 2,950
- Partial CIT (leadership + language course): 2 weeks CHF 2,100 · 3 weeks 2,900 · 4 weeks 3,600 · 5 weeks 4,200
- Culinary CIT (kitchen traineeship + language course): 2 weeks CHF 1,550 · 3 weeks 2,100 · 4 weeks 2,550 · 5 weeks 2,950
There is no charge to take part in the selection process – the price applies only once you are successfully accepted.
Locations & arrival
Estavayer-le-Lac, Schwarzsee, Braunwald and St. Bernard (Liddes, VS). Arrival on Saturdays, departure on Sundays – one, two or more weeks (several weeks preferred).
