Learning English in Cambridge, England
A language course in one of the world’s most tradition-steeped university cities promises an unforgettable stay. Cambridge means: multiculturalism, a student city, academic tradition, world-renowned museums, a classical orchestra with a resonant name - the King’s College Choir -, the Cambridge University Press Bookshop and much more. Cambridge has 120,000 inhabitants and lies around 80 km northeast of London. For centuries, the city, founded in the 12th century, has been regarded as an important centre of academic and intellectual life. The university buildings have remained unchanged for centuries. So it is possible to wander through them and experience them just as countless prime ministers, poets, writers and scientists did before you. At present, around 25,000 students are enrolled at the 31 colleges, lending Cambridge a youthful, international and lively atmosphere.
